Methods to Improve Both Health and Wellness

Exercise Regularly

The American Heart Association recommends at least 150 minutes of physical activity every week. Exercise triggers a healthy mind and body. But you don’t have to spend all 150 minutes ( 2 hours and 30 minutes ) in a gym. You can just increase your daily activity by doing things like taking the steps rather than the elevator, park further away from the front door, walk or ride your bike instead of driving, and sitting on an exercise ball instead of a chair. Walking/Riding your bike rather than driving is not only good for you health and money wise (you’re saving gas money), but it is also good for the planet because you are reducing fuel emissions.

Daily Mental Exercises

Most people don’t think that mental exercises play a factor when trying to get physically fit. Mental exercises can definitely help you achieve your goals more efficiently and increase your brain power. Daily brain exercises supports your intellectual wellness.
